Through the joint efforts of the offices of admission and alumni activities, this event was organized in an effort to thank those educators who play such a pivotal role in helping young people to understand the value of continuing their own education.

'We are very excited about this first-time event,' said Anne Graffice, director of alumni activities. 'We want to honor those alumni educators who consistently promote Mount Union as an excellent place to continue one's education.'

'This is a great chance for us to say thank you to our alumni educators,' added Amy Tomko, vice president for enrollment services. 'not only for being skilled teachers, but also for positively influencing their students to come to Mount Union through the sharing of their own experiences as a student here.'

Dr. Peter Schneller, associate professor of education, offered remarks and student ambassadors were on hand to share about their own unique experiences as a Mount Union education major.
