Red Planet Sky Watch at the Nature Center
October 28, 2005
The John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will be hosting 'Red Planet Sky Watch' on Saturday, November 5 from 6-8 p.m.
The planet Mars is brilliant this month. It rises at sunset and is out all night. This event will feature the planet as close to Earth as it will be until 2018. Along with Venus, the two planets will be in view for observation.
Dress for the weather and bring lawn chairs for this exploration of the night sky. The program will be cancelled if the sky is too cloudy.
Registration is required. The Nature Center is located 6 miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off Route 183. For more information or to register, please contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
