Explore our Faith Communities: Spiritual Life Organizations

OASIS - This group is a fellowship and Bible study organization that meets at the local United Methodist church on the edge of campus. There are opportunities for service and worship.

CRU - Evangelical in its understanding and purpose, CRU is especially interested in making disciples of Jesus Christ. Its programs and outreach seek to nurture Christian believers in their walk with Christ. Spring Break trips to evangelize and the Christmas break conference are student friendly.

The Edge - This Bible study, worship and fellowship organization is connected with Frontline Ministries International which has its home church in nearby Jackson Township. Frontline is especially known for its vibrant worship and its very active evangelism around the world. The summer mission trips taken by young adults and the leadership team are unforgettable.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes - "FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering, and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ." The Mount Union huddle is active with several local high school huddles providing mentoring and fellowship opportunities. FCA loves to pray, study the Bible, eat, and fellowship together.

FLOCK - For the Love of Christ Our King is the acronym for the Catholic Newman Fellowship on campus. Through weekly meetings and service to others FLOCK has enabled its members to enjoy studying the Bible, going on retreat together, hearing special speakers, and reaching out to the poor in the community. Each semester, FLOCK buys and distributes food to the needy in the Alliance area (anonymously).

IVOP - The Inspirational Voices of Praise is one of Mount Union's greatest gifts! The gospel choir is made up of students, faculty, staff, and community members who love to share their faith through music. The choir not only performs on campus but also accepts invitations to sing in churches around the state. Selections range from traditional to contemporary and come from around the world. IVOP performs two concerts annually on campus.

Kappa Phi - The Kappa Phi women's club is in the Christian women's organization on campus. Quite similar to a sorority in its structure, Kappa Phi is a national organization as well with campus chapters throughout the Midwest and Southern U.S. Programming is structured around Worship, Study, Fellowship, and Service. Christian women seeking to grow in their faith, serve others willingly and enjoy fantastic Christian fellowship find a warm and welcoming group here at Mount Union.

Spiritual Life Leadership - SLL is the leadership organization for spiritual life on campus. Each organization has a representative who acts as the liaison for them. SLL coordinates activities that aim to encourage cooperation and understanding and to share opportunities for fellowship and service both to the campus and to the community. SLL sponsors monthly events throughout the year.

The Interfaith Alliance - This new organization is forming to bring understanding and friendship opportunities to individuals practicing differing religious traditions on campus. Watch for more information early in the semester!
