U.S. News and World Report
The University was ranked ninth among Midwest Regional Colleges for being a U.S. News and World Report “Great School, Great Price” institution. This calculation, according to U.S. News and World Report, “takes into account the school’s academic quality, based on its ‘Best Colleges’ ranking, and the 2015-16 net cost of attendance for a student who received the average level of need-based financial aid. The higher the quality of program and the lower the cost, the better the deal.”
Mount Union was recently given an Excellent rating by Tuition Heroes, an organization that recognizes colleges and universities that have worked successfully to control tuition increases.
The University of Mount Union has been cited as one of the Best Colleges for the Money in College Factual's 2017 rankings. The University was ranked #73 in the nation, #14 in the Great Lakes region and #3 in the state of Ohio.
Mount Union was ranked in Washington Monthly’s “Best Bang for the Buck” listing in the Midwest category. According to the organization’s website, rating was based on “net” (not sticker) price, how well they do graduating the students they admit and whether those students earn enough, after graduation, to pay off their college loans.
