Ronald Matthews Jr. Named Director of the Center for Public Service

Ronald Matthews Jr. has been named the director of the Center for Public Service at Mount Union College.

Mount Union College established the Center for Public Service to prepare students for careers in public service. The Center is a response to the urgent and ongoing need for additional public servants in our federal, state and local government.

Matthews earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Florida and a master of science degree from the University of Kentucky. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Kent State University.

He has served as an adjunct instructor at Mount Union College and Kent State University.

Matthews resides in Salem with his wife Sharon, son Joshua and daughters Jessica and Katie.
