Rudy Roggenkamp to Speak at Faculty Lecture

ALLIANCE – Rudy Roggenkamp, professor of theatre at the University of Mount Union, will present the 2015 Faculty Lecture at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 22 in the Gallaher Black Box Theatre of the Giese Center for the Performing Arts.
His presentation, entitled “Do You See What I See?,” will highlight his knowledge of lighting design in the theatre.
A member of the Mount Union faculty since 1990, Roggenkamp earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and theatre arts with an acting emphasis at Heidelberg College and a Master of Fine Arts degree in theater design at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Roggenkamp currently serves as a faculty representative to the Mount Union Board of Trustees, chair of the Year of the Arts Committee and member of the SCHOLAR Day Committee.
A reception will precede the lecture at 6 p.m. in the Otto Art Gallery of the Giese Center.
The Giese Center for the Performing Arts is located at the intersection of Simpson Street and Union Avenue.
