The Office of Academic Support is a part of the Center for Student Success, which also includes the Office of Students in Academic Transition and Career Development. Our offices are located between the radio station and Campus Grounds in HPCC.
The Office of Academic Support at the University of Mount Union strives to help any student who is struggling academically. Numerous resources are available to any student at no additional cost to them. These resources include: individual appointments with staff members, peer tutoring, and a peer mentoring program that partners with a series of academic development workshops. Struggling students can visit the office at any time whether it be walk-in or by appointment. Our office strives to provide individual attention to each student based on their personal experiences and will collaborate with their faculty to monitor the student’s progress throughout their time at Mount Union.
The Office of Academic Support is focused on assisting each individual student with a unique plan for their academic development.
The Office of Academic Support staff is dedicated to maintaining three key goals to assist the student and campus community.
- Continually assessing desired and effective resources for a diverse student population;
- Enhancing the communication and outreach provided to the students and faculty;
- Sustaining a consistent office environment to assist visiting or at-risk students.
