Second Annual Christian Women?s Wellness Conference to be Held March 18

The Second Annual Christian Women's Wellness Conference will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Canton Marriott McKinley Grand Hotel.
The conference includes a full day of activities aimed at educating and encouraging women to take a proactive approach in attaining optimum wellness. Comedic drama and relationship building exercises will be used to bring women of all backgrounds together in an inviting environment. A wealth of information, screenings, resources and healthful experiences will be provided. Specific issues that will be addressed include breast cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stress, depression and spiritual development.
The conference will feature gospel recording artist and author Kelly Chapman. Marty CashBurless, chaplain of MountUnionCollege, will serve as mistress of ceremonies with Danita Harris, WEWS News Channel 5 anchor, offering the welcome. Sponsors for the event include Mount Union College, the American Cancer Society, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (Northeast Ohio Affiliate), WNPQ 95.9 and the American Heart Association.
