The International Teas allow students, faculty and staff to sample foods from around the world without leaving the Mount Union campus.

This is the second International Tea coordinated by Gayle Shaker, director of international student affairs. The first Tea was held during International Week in November and was well received by all who attended the informal affair. According to Shaker, the purpose is for "everyone to try something different and enjoy the company."

The menu for Friday's event will include Mexican nachos and a Spanish dessert, as well as hot and cold beverages. There will also be Mexican and Spanish music playing.

Shaker plans to hold International Teas the last Friday of every month. The dates for spring semester include: February 27, March 26 and April 23. Next month, the tea will feature foods from Russia.
