Senior Biology Students at Mount Union College Present SCE Projects

On Tuesday, April 20, senior biology students at Mount Union College presented their Senior Culminating Experience (SCE) projects. The presentations were held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center and Koch Environmental Learning Center.
The SCE projects were divided into four different disciplines of biology, which included ecology, microbiology, animal and plant physiology and cell and organismal biology.
Following the SCE presentations, speaker Beth (Bachofsky) Potter, a PH.D candidate from the University of Pittsburgh and 2001 graduate of Mount Union College, gave a lecture entitled "Apical Sorting of the Sialomucin Endolyn in Polarized Epithelial Cells."
