ALLIANCE, Ohio - Senior Erica Williamson of Toronto will be performing her senior recital Sunday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall, which will be followed on Monday, April 30 at 8 p.m. with a Horn Studio and Trombone Studio Recital.

Williamson, a 1997 graduate of Edison High School, has been a member of the Women's Chorus, the Mount Union Choir, Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association (OCMEA) and Alpha Lambda Delta, Sophomore Service and Blue Key honoraries. She also has earned Dean's List honors and served as secretary of Mu Phi Epsilon, the national music fraternity.

For her senior recital, Williamson will be playing a variety of pieces from great composers like J.S. Bach, Franz Joseph Haydn, Johannes Brahms and Frederic Chopin.

The Mount Union Horn Ensemble, under the direction of instructor Rob Cole, will be performing Nicolas Tcherepnine's Six Pieces. Members of the horn ensemble include senior Ryan Bell of Minerva; freshman Judy Weaver of Alliance; freshman Juliann Alden of Warren and guest Lori Burse.

The Mount Union Trombone Ensemble will also be performing under the direction of instructor John Olsson. Playing a variety of music will be ensemble members Paul Krajnak, a junior from Pittsburgh; Chris Rice, a junior from North Canton; Aaron Thornberry, a junior from Massillon; Brandi Tolson, a sophomore from Beloit; Jason Young, a freshman from Wexford, PA; and Neil Keating, a freshman from Akron.

Both performances are free and open to the public. Presser Recital Hall is located in the Cope Music building on the corner of Union Avenue and Simpson Street.
