Sharon Luke Named Associate Professor of Physician Assistant Studies

Sharon Luke has been named associate professor of physician assistant studies at Mount Union College.
Luke joined the staff at Mount Union in 2008 and also serves as the director of the physician assistant studies program at the institution.
She earned a bachelor of science degree in the natural sciences (biology) from the University of Akron in 1986. After completing some graduate-level coursework in microbiology and molecular biology at the University of Akron, she earned an associate of applied science degree from the CAAHEP-accredited Physician Assistant Program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) in 1996 and a master of science degree in health sciences from Cleveland State University in 2006. Luke is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in higher education and adult learning from Walden University.
A member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Ohio Association of Physician Assistants, Luke is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCA) and licensed by the State of Ohio Medical Board as a physician assistant.
