I like the Chapel the most. When I have had a particularly difficult day or am concerned about a student who is struggling, I stop by the Chapel on my way home. The visit gives me insight or direction about that I need to do.

Sociology is a field that is increasingly being incorporated into the research of other discipline. Overall employment of sociologists is expected to grow 22% through 2018, much faster than the average for all occupations, as projected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Our undergraduate program will prepare you for an entry-level career after graduation as well as for graduate school. A survey conducted of students graduating from Mount Union from 1976 through 2000 with a degree in sociology indicated that they are pursuing careers in planning analysis, social service program administration, system design, social welfare, federal law enforcement, paralegal, counseling, probation, law, secondary education, private investigating, business management and college teaching. Potential fields for sociology majors include a number of rewarding careers.
