Major: Sociology
Job Title: President and CEO

I was from a small town in western Pennsylvania and wanted to be close enough to go home, but far away enough to "grow up" away from my parents. I looked at many small, private colleges and universities, but Mount Union fit me perfectly.

Students can intern at hospitals, police and probation departments; county prosecutor’s and public defender’s offices; agencies that treat alcoholism, drug abuse and mental illness; business corporations; non-profit organizations; retirement centers and nursing homes; and state and private agencies that work with juvenile delinquency, spousal abuse and children.

Organizations Students have the opportunity to get involved in the more than 80 organizations at Mount Union including the Sociology Club and Pi Gamma Mu, a national social science honorary.
