Sociology Major
Pursue a career in counseling, social service, probation and law enforcement, government or education.
Master the skills necessary to scientifically study human social behavior through our sociology program. Not only will these techniques help you to develop as a well-rounded individual, they also build great career potential. Our program uniquely combines in-depth research training with applied skills in grant writing and strategic planning, a winning combination that allows our program to stand out among those at other institutions.
The sociology major is administered by the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice.
