Spring Faculty Research Forum to Be Held March 27 at Mount Union College

The Mount Union College Faculty Research Forum will be held Monday, March 27 at 5:45 p.m. in Chapman Hall Room 202.


Dr. David Weiss, assistant professor of communication, will present "'Losing My (Civil) Religion': George W. Bush, John Kerry, and the Ascendance of Personal Politico-Religious Rhetoric.' Dr. Peter Schneller, associate professor of education, will present 'Seven Lessons for Tibet: Carrying Character education from East to West.' Dr. Brandon Sheafor, associate professor of biology will present 'It's Not Easy Being Green: Global Amphibian Decline and Emerging Infectious Diseases.' Dr. Paul Tidman, associate professor of philosophy and religious studies will present 'A Defense for Gratuitous Evil.'

Dr. John Kirchmeyer, professor of computer science and information systems, will serve as moderator. Opening and closing remarks will be made by Dr. Truman Turnquist, interim vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College. Questions will be taken at the end of the forum.

The event is free and open to the public.
