Spring LINC Speakers Announced

ALLIANCE, Ohio — Speakers for the spring LINC (lunch, information, networking, conversation) luncheon series at the University of Mount Union have been announced.
Luncheons are scheduled for noon on the fourth Tuesday of January, February and March in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center. The purpose of the event is for attendees to enjoy food and discussion on current topics with faculty members and have a chance to interact with the University and the Alliance community.
On January 22, the speaker will be Mark McConnell, assistant professor of marketing. McConnell will give a lecture titled, “Marketing A Movement (Inspiring Social Responsibility).”
On February 26, Dr. Mandy Capel, assistant professor of education, will speak on the topic, “Educational Leadership in the 21st Century.”
On March 26, Dr. Debra Boyd Kimball, assistant professor of chemistry and director of the Honors Program will give a talk titled, “Alzheimer’s Disease: The Case for Science.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring guests but are asked to RSVP as space is limited. Cost for each luncheon is $10.
