Spring Orientation FAQs

What is Spring Orientation?
Spring Orientation is a chance for new students to get acclimated to campus life, learn about resources available to them, and spend time making connections with fellow students as well as faculty and staff. Overall, the goal is to ensure that new students feel comfortable and are able to hit the ground running on the first day of classes.
Who should attend Spring Orientation?
All new students for must attend spring orientation in its entirety. Both residential and commuter students as well as student athletes and international students should participate in the program and enjoy the day!

If you have to miss any portion of the spring orientation program, you should email us at firstyear@mountunion.edu to see if that is excused.
When can I move into my on-campus housing and pick up my room key?
New students can being moving into their on-campus housing on Sunday, January 7. Keys can be picked up at the Hoover-Price Campus Center Information desk beginning at 9 a.m. Please contact reslife@mountunion.edu if you need to make alternate arrangements.
