Stark County Honors Flute Choir to Perform

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Stark County Honors Flute Choir will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9 in Presser Recital Hall located in Cope Music Hall at the University of Mount Union.

The event will feature music students from high schools around Stark County and Mount Union. Students are nominated for inclusion in the group by their band directors and flute instructors.

Members are Amanda Houdeschell, GlenOak; Sophie Fonte, Hoover; Natalie Williams, Perry; Breana Tompulis, Minerva; Lena Shelton, Washington; Allison Zuk, Dover; Kaylen Sanor, West Branch; Sarah Kepple, GlenOak; Morgan Studer, Minerva; Alicia O’Neill, Lake; Miranda Hench, Lake; Lindsey Fugett, West Branch; Allison Zuk, Dover; Carley Sedlacek, West Branch; Brittany Ring, West Branch; Amanda Dean, West Branch; Kassie Steed, West Branch; Madeline Muller, Sandy Valley; Lisa Price, community member and Heather Rice and Brianna Searing, Mount Union music majors.

The Flute Choir, accompanied by collaborative pianist Brent Schloneger, will present selections by Phyllis Avidan Louke, Mark Andrew Pope, Irvin Monroe, Peter Christian Lutkin, Martin Melicharek, Alessandro Scarlatti, Léo Delibes, Toby Caplan-Stonefield, Melanie Thorne and BedÅ™ich Smetana.
