Stark County Honors Flute Choir to Perform

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The Stark County Honors Flute Choir will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 in Presser Recital Hall at The University of Mount Union.

The event will feature students from high schools around Stark County and Mount Union faculty members.

The students are nominated for inclusion in this group by their band directors and private flute teachers. The members are Elyse Dye, Jackson; Julie Habony, Perry; Tiffany Kempthorn, Marlington; Natashia Lasky, United, Alocia O’Neill, Lake; Alison Prexta, Lake; Madison Smith, Perry; Breana Tompulis, Minerva and Laura Tweedie, Lake.

The Flute Choir will present selections by James Christensen Gabriel Faure, Johann Sebastian Bach, Ann Cameron Pearce, Catherine McMichael and Lew Pollack. The group will be directed by Mount Union flute lecturer Robin Tryon and assisted by piano lecturer Kath Reichenberger.
