Stark County Honors Flute Choir to Perform April 21 at Mount Union College

2008-2009 Stark Country Honors Flute ChoirStark County Honors Flute Choir will perform on Tuesday, April 21 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall at Mount Union College. The choir is under the direction of music faculty member RobinTryon.

Students from area schools include Kathryn Blocher and Emily Butterfield, Minerva; Cayley Briggs and Amanda Chaney, Glenoak; Sarah Charlton, Washington; Mellay Gardner, Christina Pietrzak and Brenna Price, Salem; Janelle Heinle, Morgan McHale, Allison Stephens and Catherine Morris, Hoover; Kelsey Klein, Tuslaw; Stephanie Kutcher, Jackson; Tori Swejk and Anna Zotta, Perry; and Emma Starre, home schooled.

The choir will present of program of Baroque, Classical, jazz and popular selections.

Also performing will be the Silver and Strings Trio of Tryon, flute; Dr. Elaine Anderson, ‘cello; and William Kendrick, piano.
