September 28, 2003

The 4th annual Wildlife Conference is a free, one-day opportunity to learn what is happening in our local environment. The conference will be held Thursday, October 2 from 8:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for teachers, high school and college students, and other nature enthusiasts to catch up with current information about our area. There will be lectures, workshops and GLOBE phenology training. The keynote speaker, Dr. J.R. Stewart of Shippensburg University, will speak on coyotes, deer and bear.

Call (330) 823-7487 for more information. Registration is required. The conference will be held at Malone College in conjunction with Mount Union College, Quail Hollow State Park, Stark Parks and the Wilderness Center.
