Station Information
WRMU is a non-commercial, educational radio station licensed to the Mount Union Board of Trustees. WRMU is a learning tool and lab for the students of Mount Union. Students Operate the station as a public service to the Mount Union campus and area communities.
WRMU has an effective radiated power of 2,800 watts. The air signal covers approximately a 20 to 25 mile radius from the campus. Its primary signal reaches one million potential listeners. The station broadcasts broadcasts seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. WRMU is a member of the National Association of College Broadcasters. The skills developed at WRMU can be used in TV or film productions, multi-media presentations, theater productions, public relations work, speeches and just about anywhere audio skills are used.
