Student Health Fair to Promote Wellness

On Wednesday, April 21, Mount Union College will host a student health fair in the Main Lounge and Alumni Room in the Hoover-Price Campus Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Free health screenings, give-aways, health information, fitness and nutritional information will be provided to students. In addition, there will be drawings for men's and a women's bicycles.
The various wellness facilities and businesses from the Alliance community and surrounding areas that will be represented at the health fair include: Jenssen Pharmaceutico Inc.; Edwards Medical Supply; White Physical Therapy Services; Aventis Pasteur, Inc.; Michelle Charlton, D.O. of Charlton Chiropractic & Wellness Center; Concorde Health and Wellness; Alliance City Health Department; Alliance Foot and Ankle Clinic; Planned Parenthood of Stark County; Ohio Eye Alliance; Aultworks, Occupational Medicine; Utterback Dental Group; Gary Foith; Ohio State Highway Patrol; Alliance Area Rape Crisis and Sexual Assault Program; Curves; Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals; Alliance Obstetrics, Inc.; Alliance-Minerva American Red Cross; Hearing Aids and Devices; Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and the Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter.
Wellness sources from the campus community that will be present include: Human Performance and Sport Management Department; Student Health Center; Dining Services; College Chaplain; Office of Alcohol, Drug and Wellness Education and Director of Counseling.
The Health Fair is sponsored by the Ramsayer Health Center in cooperation with the participants.
