Student Woodwind Quintet to Present Concert

The University of Mount Union’s student woodwind quintet will perform at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4 in Presser Recital Hall.
 
The quintet will perform selections including “Suit for Woodwind Quintet” by Robert Washburn, “Shenandoah” by Richard Brown, “Novelette in C Major” by Francis Poulenc and “Serenade” by Ferenc Farkas.
 
Participating students are junior music education major Heather Rice of Madison, Ohio, on flute; sophomore mathematics major Laryssa Byndas of Brooklyn, Ohio, on clarinet; sophomore early childhood education major Allison Barnhart of Minerva, Ohio, on horn; and junior music education major Ian Bell of Clinton, Ohio on bassoon. Faculty member Betty Shultz, lecturer of oboe, will play the oboe.
