Student Woodwind Recital to be Held November 18

The Mount Union College Woodwind ensembles will perform a concert on Wednesday, November 18 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The Clarinet ensemble includes Gabrielle Jordan, Lindsey Nicholson, Sarah Behal, Sarah Kufta and Brittany Zganjer. They will perform Dizzy Fingers by Zez Confrey, Celebrated Air by J.S. Bach, Allegro Moderato by Ignaz Lachner and Clarinet Marmalade by Edwards, LaRocca, Sbarbaro and Shields.

The Woodwind quintet includes Sarah Dye, flute; Megan Brigham, oboe; Willow DiGiacomo, clarinet; Katy Borland, horn; and Melody Brown, bassoon. They will perform Suite (Allegro Marziale, Andante and Allegro con Spirito) by Robert Washburn, Shenandoah by Richard E. Brown, Folk Suite (Jig, Lullabye, The Princess Waits and The Russian Bear) by Karen Gorton and Early Hungarian Dances from the 17th Century (Intrada, Lento, Chorea and Saltarello) by Ferenc Farkas.
