Students Present Music Recitals

The Mount Union College department of music will host a student recital on April 1 in Presser Recital Hall at 10:35 a.m.

Heather A. Cowie, a junior from Wakeman, will perform "Capriccio" by Heinrich Sutermeister, on the clarinet.

The soprano soloist Tiffany M. Bics, a sophomore from Columbia Station, will sing to "Bill from 'Showboat'" by Jerome Kern.

Andrea Brownlee, a junior from Glendale, WV, will perform "Petite Piece Concertante" by Guillaume Balay on the trumpet.

Soprano Michelle Mohr, a sophomore from Cambridge, will present a solo performance to "Love Has Eyes" by Sir Henry Bishop.

Oboist Kristen Dobish, a senior from New Wilmington, PA, will perform "Sonate" by Camille Saint-Saens.

Pianist Nicole Lee, lecturer and accompanist for the music department, will serve as accompanist for several of the students' performances.

The event is free and open to the public.
