Thanksgiving Arrive Alive Event Planned

October 29, 2013

ALLIANCE, Ohio – As a reminder to “buckle up, every trip, every time and arrive alive,” a Thanksgiving Arrive Alive Event will be held Thursday, November 21 at the University of Mount Union.

As the holiday season approaches, so do the busiest travel times of the year and most dangerous times on the roadways. The Thanksgiving Arrive Alive Event emphasizes the importance of wearing your seatbelt, the most effective measure to save your life in a car crash. Buckling up can help protect yourself, and loved ones, from distracted or impaired drivers.

This event will be held at 11 a.m. in Campus Grounds, where activities and prizes will be available.

The Thanksgiving Arrive Alive Event is hosted by the University of Mount Union along with Portage and Stark County Safe Communities, Sheriff’s Offices, Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio State Highway Patrol and local law enforcement agencies
