The Review Publisher to Speak at Mount Union

Chuck DixGordon Charles “Chuck” Dix II, publisher of The Review, will be the featured speaker to kick off the fall semester’s Continued Learning Program on Tuesday, October 4 at 10 a.m. The lecture will be held in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center on the University of Mount Union’s campus.
A fourth generation publisher, Dix serves as the chief executive officer and president of Dix Communications as well as president of Dix Radio Division. He is a board member and past president of the Alliance Area Development Foundation and the Greater Alliance Development Corporation, past president of the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce and past president and board member of PAGE (Publishers’ Association to Gain Economy). Dix currently serves as a member of the board of the Stark Community Foundation.
He was born and raised in Defiance Ohio, within a family heritage of newspaper publishing. He also graduate from Wittenberg University with a degree in business and accounting.
Those attending are welcome to stay for lunch in the Kresge Dining Commons ($6.50) or B&B Café (a la carte) following the session.
The Continued Learning Program sessions, which are all free and open to the public, include a variety of presentations and current perspectives, as well as time for questions and discussion. Additional sessions have been scheduled for October 11, 18 and 25.
