Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods was a Great Success
November 04, 2008
Mount Union College student organizations collected 2,528 canned goods to benefit the Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter during their second annual Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods.
“We want to thank the Alliance community for supporting this event,” said Amanda Espenschied-Reilly, director of service-learning and community service. “The response has been great and we look forward to doing it again next year.”
Trick-or-Treat for canned goods with the Office of Service-Learning and Community Service and Sophomore Service supports hunger awareness. Student groups registered for routes and flyers educating the residents about the event were distributed to neighborhoods in the community.
