Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods was a Great Success
November 3, 2008
Mount Union College student organizations collected 2,528 canned goods to benefit the Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter during their second annual Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods.
“We want to thank the Alliance community for supporting this event,” said Amanda Espenschied-Reilly, director of service-learning and community service. “The response has been great and we look forward to doing it again next year.”
Trick-or-Treat for canned goods with the Office of Service-Learning and Community Service and Sophomore Service supports hunger awareness. Student groups registered for routes and flyers educating the residents about the event were distributed to neighborhoods in the community.Back to Previous Page
