Trombone Recital Featuring Keith Jackson to be Held November 5 at Mount Union College

The Mount Union College Department of Music is hosting a guest artist concert featuring Dr. Keith Jackson on Wednesday, November 5 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
Jackson, associate professor of music and chairman of the Division of Music at West Virginia University, has been a member of the music faculty since 1995. Active in both classical and jazz styles, he is a performer and clinician regularly performing with the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra. He has also performed as a soloist and jazz musician across the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.
Assisting on piano will be James Miltenberger, professor of piano, piano repertoire and jazz piano at West Virginia University. John Olsson, instructor of trombone at Mount Union College and Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music, will also perform with Jackson. In addition, a number will be performed by Olsson and the Youngstown State University Trombone Ensemble.
