University of Mount Union Concert Choir to Perform

The University of Mount Union Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Clarence M. Shearer, interim director of choral activities and visiting professor of music, will present a concert on Friday, December 10 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
The choir will perform a variety of songs including Ching-A-Ring-Chaw, Stomp Your Foot, Songs of Innocence: Little Lamb Who Made Thee and Children’s Letters to God.
The Mount Union Choir is among the nation’s oldest collegiate choirs, tracing its roots to 1896. Chosen by competitive audition, the members of the Choir maintain a demanding schedule of daily rehearsals, regular sectionals, invitational concerts and concert tours.
The event is free and open to the public. Presser Recital Hall is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Union Avenue and Simpson Street on Mount Union's campus. For more information, contact the Department of Music at (330) 823-2180.
