ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union will hold its 166th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 5 in the Peterson Field House of the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex.

At 1:30 p.m., the University will begin the Commencement procession in which 470 students will participate.

Featured speaker for this year’s Commencement is E. Dominic Capers, a 1972 graduate of the University of Mount Union and defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers. During his address, Capers will speak on the topic, “Talent Alone is Not Enough.” He will focus on topics including finding something you love, preparing for adversity and surviving success and understanding the law of compensation — the more you give, the more you get back.
