Traditions Events

Mount Union prides itself on its rich history and traditions, and programming is no exception. RPB plans and implements, sometimes in conjunction with other offices on campus, several traditions events throughout the year.

Week of Welcome gives students a full week of engaging social events upon arrival on the campus in the Fall. Whether it is Raiderfest, where you can meet and learn about student organizations, a Movie in the Quad, a concert, or Tie-Dye & Nachos (a UMU staple), students can come out, get free stuff, eat great food, meet new people and get off to a great start for the year!

  • August 21 - RPB Morning Madness
  • Augusut 22 - Walking Taco Tuesday
  • August 23 - Raiderfest
  • August 24 - RPB Tie-Dye and Nachos (A Mount Union Tradition)
  • August 25 - RPB Week of Welcome Carnival (co-sponsored by IFC)
  • August 26 - RPB Outdoor Movie in the Quad

Homecoming Week - September 25 - 30, 2017

An entire fun-filled week of events is planned to lead up to the Mount Union Homecoming Football game and festivities on Saturday, September 30. The week includes a bonfire, parade, hot chocolare delivered via gold car, and of course, Mr. UMU!
