Wallace Named Assistant Director of Marketing at Mount Union
February 04, 2010Chelsey Wallace has recently been named assistant director of marketing at Mount Union College.
In this new role, Wallace will be responsible for developing effective web optimization strategy, assist in the implementation of marketing-related tactics, create illustrations and graphics for electronic and printed materials, as well as develop e-greetings and other flash-oriented materials.
“Chelsey brings a wealth of knowledge to our operation in terms of website development, electronic communication strategy and marketing tactics,” said Melissa Gardner, executive director of public affairs and marketing. “She will play a critical role in our future marketing initiatives as we develop a positioning strategy that will include the environment of our web presence, addition of mobile technology and growth of our social media outreach, all in an effort to communicate effectively in a very technological world.”
A 2009 graduate of Mount Union, Wallace earned a bachelor of arts degree in media computing with minors in business administration and communication. As a student, she was a web assistant in the Office of Public Affairs and Marketing, an information desk receptionist and web manager for the Alliance Farmers’ Market. She also is currently the web manager for Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville.
