Mount Union is different for a number of reasons, such as the friendly atmosphere and small class sizes that allow students and professors to work together. Professors get to know you. They realize your potential both academically and personally.
Ways of Giving to Mount Union
Each gift made to the University, whether large or small, deeply impacts our students. As you consider supporting this year, there are a number of ways in which to make your gift:
Your gift of cash to the University is put to immediate use on campus to fund our students’ educational experience. Gifts made via cash or check (made payable to Mount Union) may be mailed to the address listed at the bottom of the page.
You may make your gift to Mount Union via credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. You may contact us directly at (330)823-2092 to submit your credit card information, submit it via our secure online gift form or mail your credit card information, including number, card type, full name as it appears on the card, expiration date, security code and gift amount to the address listed at the bottom of the page.
Your IRA is an easy way to give to the University of Mount Union. If you are over age 70 ½, you may annually gift any amount up to $100,000 of your IRA to charity. You can make the gift by directing your custodian to transfer a portion of your required minimum distribution directly to Mount Union. Learn more.
Electronic Funds Transfer
If you so choose, you may establish an electronic funds transfer (EFT) to occur one time or over a period of time. In order to begin the EFT process, please mail a voided check to the address listed at the bottom of the page along with your intended payment schedule and gift amount.
A number of donors decide to make their gift through the transfer of stock. For instructions on transferring a gift of stock to Mount Union, please contact the Office of University Advancement at (800) 992-6682; ext. 2286.
Many companies strongly support philanthropic activity by their employees through a matching gift program. These types of programs double (even triple) the impact of your gift. Check with your Human Resources department (or your spouses') to see how you may be able to increase the impact of your gift.
