Women’s Chorus Concert to Perform April 12

The University of Mount Union Women’s Chorus will perform Monday, April 11 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
Under the direction of Kathy Gold, lecturer of music at Mount Union, the chorus will perform Simple Gifts, Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier, New Spring, Take Me to the Sea and For a Child, among others.
Gold earned a bachelor of music degree in music theory and composition from Butler University and a master of music degree in music composition from the University of North Texas. Prior to joining the faculty at Mount Union, she taught music in kindergarten through eighth grade. She is Orff-Schulwerk certified and maintains a private teaching studio of nearly students.
The concert is free and open to the public. Presser Recital Hall is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Vincent Street and Union Avenue on the Mount Union campus. For more information, contact the Department of Music at (330) 823-2180.
