Woodwind Quartet and Flute Choir to Perform

ALLIANCE, Ohio —The University of Mount Union Student Woodwind Quartet and Mount Union Flute Choir will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27 in Presser Recital Hall.

The woodwind quartet, directed by Betty Shultz, includes junior music education major Heather Rice of Madison, OH, flute; junior mathematics major Laryssa Byndas of Brooklyn, OH, clarinet; Betty Shultz, oboe and junior music education major Ian Bell of North Canton, OH, bassoon.

The flute choir, directed by Robin Tryon, includes freshman Rachel Beach of Bolivar, OH; junior psychology major Cayley Briggs of Canton, OH; junior music education major Cresslyn DiRosa of Burton, OH; community member Drew Duncan, junior music education major Alex Garner of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, senior geology major Jessica Kostrab of Chardon, OH, senior art major Amanda Manley of Dalton, OH, Heather Rice and sophomore music education major Brianna Searing of Fort Wayne, OH.

The recital will feature works by Fucik, Kreisler, Mozart, Kohler and Kibbe.
