WRMU?s ?Ohio Votes 2004? News Segment Focuses on Stark County Election Issues

 As Election Day draws closer, citizens of Stark County will be focusing on local issues. WRMU 91.1 FM will host 'Ohio Votes 2004,' an election news program investigating local levies on the Stark County ballot.

In an effort to raise awareness on local issues, the WRMU News Team will air fifteen-minute, in-depth news segments Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28. The 'Ohio Votes 2004,' segments will air at 8 p.m. each evening.

'`Ohio Votes 2004' is an informative way for citizens of Stark County to learn out about the issues on the ballot,' said Jillian Smith, news director at WRMU and coordinator of 'Ohio Votes 2004.' 'The program is a great way to raise awareness of all sides of the issues.'

The schedule of programming for the week includes Issue 1 and the Minerva Senior Citizens levy renewal on Monday, October 25. The North Canton and Alliance natural gas aggregation programs and the Lexington Township fire district levy will air on Tuesday, October 26. Programming for Wednesday, October 27 is on the school district levies for Louisville and Marlington. Thursday, October 28 programs include the Osnaburg Township police district levy and the Washington Township fire levy.
