Message from the Director

The exercise science program here at the University of Mount Union has been built and developed with a focus on students. As a student you will have the opportunity to work with, as well as learn from, dedicated professors with a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience in the field. The faculty takes extreme pride in mentoring our exercise science students throughout their college years and preparing them for meaningful careers in the health-related fitness field. While our curriculum is designed for student ownership in their learning experience, our small class sizes allow the personal attention to grow throughout the program, allowing a deeper understanding and passion in your field of study.

Housed in the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex, the exercise science program will prepare you for various health-related fitness career paths through numerous experiential learning opportunities on and off campus. Our Clay Exercise Science Center houses a multitude of quality state-of-the art laboratory equipment for teaching, learning, and research. Mount Union’s exercise science program will introduce you to big opportunities with the attention and individual focus of a small school environment.

We look forward to helping you in your journey toward a career in the health-related fitness field. Feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have.
