Working at Mount Union

I enjoy working with people who are passionate about helping students and always keeping them at the forefront of their minds throughout the work they do.

Favorite Mount Union Fact

98% of students receive some form of financial aid- this demonstrates Mount Union continues to be steadfast to one of the founding principles of the university, which is a commitment to access.

Favorite Thing About Mount Union

I love the school spirit that students have for Mount Union. This spirit can be seen in the Raider gear worn across campus and the support that the students have for athletics, visual and performing arts, and other activities their classmates are involved with. Not only does this spirit last while they are in school, but I love seeing the continued connections our alumni have with the university.

Fun Fact About Me

My wife and I met while both working at Mount Union and got married in the Mount Union Chapel. At the wedding my uncle informed me that he helped build the chapel and as a wedding gift gave us one of the bolts that had been left over from the chapel project.

Advice for Students During Their College Search

Enjoy the process. It is easy to feel overwhelmed with making a decision that is as impactful as where to attend college, but remember what is important to you and what you want to get out of your college experience, and I am confident that you will make the best decision for you. This is your opportunity to reflect on those things and to make a decision that will help you achieve your short- and long-term goals. Despite some of the stress, it can be a fun process and my goal is that at Mount Union we serve as a resource that helps eliminate the stress and enhances your experience.
