Discovering Mount Union

In 2018, I came to Mount Union's fall visit day and it immediately felt like home. Meeting with theatre professors and having an amazing overnight host all just added to the fact I was making the right choice. I would tell high schoolers looking at schools to look at as many or as few colleges as you want! Visit schools that are really interesting to you and just remeber that everything will work out.

Why Did You Choose Your Majors?

I choose theatre because it has always been the one escape in my life to truly be myself. I am thankful to have also received a theatre performance scholarship from Mount. My other major is criminal justice, which I picked because it will allow me to help others in exponential ways. I want to attend graduate school for theatre and develop my craft even more. Mount Union prepared me by providing me with real experiences while setting the expectations high.

Opportunities at Mount Union

The theatre department is constantly bringing in guest artists and personal friends who work in the industry to workshop with us and teach us from first hand experiences. "A Christmas Carol" was one of my favorite experiences because we got to have three guest artists, which allowed us to learn from their craft and each of their unique experiences.
