Dr. Jasim specializes in wireless communications systems, signal processing and networking. His research is focused on cellular networks, virtualization and machine learning. He enjoys active-learning instruction, where he integrates rigorous theory, conceptual realization tools and applications in his classroom. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Florida, an M.S. from Brunel University London, UK, and a B.S. from the Applied Science University, Jordan, all three in electrical engineering.
