Teaching at Mount Union
Mount Union appealed to me because computer engineering is a newer department here. I like the challenge of developing new courses and establishing a new program. Apart from that, Mount Union has the most beautiful campus I've seen so far! I really enjoy walking around the campus. I chose my profession because I've always heard that electrical engineering is the hardest and most promising major. I think this is true, and I am very happy I chose this field. I enjoy reading, which is good since it is a big part of my job! Interaction with students is also very fun. Especially, since I didn't grow up in the U.S., there are tons of funny things that I learn from my students everyday.
I specialize in wireless communication systems, signal analysis, and information theory. During my Ph.D., I developed a modular model for molecular communicaition based on Fick's Law. By designing a new reciever method, I was able to improve the received Bit-Error-Rate (BER).
