Master of Education Concentrations Offered In

  1. Athletic Coaching

    This concentration combines the University's track record in producing highly-successful coaches at all levels of organized athletics with its rich history of academic preparation in education and sport-related fields. Mount Union's online M.Ed. in athletic coaching is a premiere program for developing athletic coaches who are strong leaders, motivators, and communicators.

  2. Educational Leadership

    Take the next step in your career as you gain exposure to leadership, organizational change, and school culture. The M.Ed. in educational leadership is designed to prepare teaching professionals to serve as successful leaders in roles such as program administrators, teacher leaders, distance learning coordinators and district administrators.

  3. Instructional Design and Technology

    With the every changing learning environments of P-12 and higher education transitioning from traditional formats of instruction to fully-online learning platforms, the M.Ed. in instructional design and technology will allow you to better utilize technology for designing and delivering curriculum. Instructional designers are not only sought by the P-12 and higher education fields, but by Ed tech companies and many HR training departments in many industries.

  4. Ohio Principal Licensure

    The Ohio principal licensure concentration is geared specifically toward educational professionals seeking to serve as principals or in administrative positions requiring the Ohio Principal License. Through an engaging curriculum and a project-based internship tailored to meet the needs of the your school district, you will be prepared to sit for the Ohio Assessment for Educators licensure exam and earn your Ohio Principal License.
