University of Mount Union students and their families, like many others in our nation and around the world, are suffering hardships due the COVID-19 pandemic. For some students, this time period has resulted in a dire financial emergency. Additional costs related to travel, moving expenses, wifi access, food, and rent, in addition to the possibility of potential unemployment and other impacts, has prompted the University to launch the Mount Union COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund.
This Fund has been established under the umbrella of The Mount Union Fund, which underwrites virtually every aspect of a Mount Union education. The goal of the Student Emergency Fund is to aid the most vulnerable students with unexpected and urgent expenses related to COVID-19, with 100% of every dollar given aiding individual students with their most pressing needs.
