Presidential Scholarship Competition
Mount Union’s Presidential Scholarship Competition offers renewable full-tuition awards to eight winners. Trustee Scholarships amounting to $17,000 are awarded to many students who demonstrate outstanding performance during the Presidential Scholarship Competition but are not chosen as recipients of full-tuition awards.
- ACT score of at least 27 or an SAT score of 1210 (CR+M)
- At least a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4 point scale or a high school rank in the top 15%
The competition involves an on-campus interview session and essay. Competition dates for the 2016 incoming class have passed. Competition dates for the 2017 incoming class will be posted in the fall of 2016.
If an eligible candidate cannot complete the admissions process prior to the competition date, he/she may still participate in the competition by submitting an official transcript and test scores and contacting the Office of Admission to schedule a competition date. While it is not required to be admitted to the University to compete, candidates must have submitted all original admission application materials to the University prior to the award notification date of April 1, 2016 to be offered a Presidential or Trustee Scholarship.
