1. Official Transcripts and Transcript Requests

   • Online Transcript Request

     Order a transcript from this link when you are away from campus. Come to the Office of the University Registrar to request a transcript when you are on campus. Transcripts ordered online are $7.00 per transcript, plus an additional $3.00 processing fee.

2. Academic Calendar and Final Exam Schedules

   This undergraduate academic calendar is for the 2025-2026 academic year and lists several important dates throughout Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 terms.

   • Fall 2025 Final Exam Schedule

   Students must take the final exam at the scheduled time. Any individual requests to change the final exam times must be made with a petition to the Academic Policies Committee. Petitions to Change Final Exam Times must be completed and submitted to the Office of the University Registrar by 5 p.m. on Friday of the 12th week of classes. For classes with a lab, the exam time is dictated by the lecture time. When class is held only one day per week, with a different course held in the same room on another day, the first class held that week will follow the appointed exam time and the second will be the exam time for “all others.”

4. Official University Registrar Forms

   • Schedule Change Form (drop/add/withdraw)

     Use this form to change your class schedule. Turn in to the Office of the University Registrar with all required signatures. To use a digital signature, you must download and save the form first.
   • Petition to Change Final Exam

     Petitions to Change Final Exam Times must be completed and submitted to the Office of the University Registrar by 5 p.m. on Friday of the 12th week of classes.
   • Petition for Academic Policy Review

     This petition form should only be used when petitioning for a change of academic policy. This form should not be used for petitioning the change of a final exam or any appeals to an academic decision made by the Academic Policies Committee or the Office of Academic Affairs.
   • Early Submission Petition for Raider Foundations Portfolio

     If you are a student who matriculated (became a new student) to the University of Mount Union as a traditional first-year college student (even if you came in with some credits, e.g., CCP, AP, Dual Enrollment), you are expected to submit your RFP during your fourth semester (RFP's are due by 4 p.m. on the last day of finals). Submitting your RFP prior to your fourth semester constitutes an early submission and requires approval from the Integrative Core Program Office.
   • Directed Study Request

     Use this form to register for a course that is listed in the course catalog and the instructor will be teaching you individually at a time other than when normally offered.
   • Independent Study Proposal

     Use this form for a course number ending in 400, 405 or 494.
   • Transient Work at Another Institution
     This form must be pre-approved before taking courses at another institution while you are a Mount Union student. The grades from the coursework will be included in your GPA.

     Please see the Office of the University Registrar regarding this form. You must obtain approval from the Assistant Dean to use this form.

5. Registration for Spring 2026 and Winter 2025/2026

   • Spring 2026 Registration
     Registration will begin on Tuesday, October 28 for seniors and graduate students at 7 a.m. and close on Friday, November 21 for all students. Please reference the registration date link for details. For help scheduling your classes in Self-Service, please refer to this step-by-step guide.

   •  Winter 2025/2026 Registration
     Winter 2025/2026 Registration will open soon and will remain open through the first week of Winter term 2025-2026. Winter hours are offered at a reduced tuition rate. You must be in good financial standing with the Universiy to be eligible for Winter Term courses. 

   • Acadeum Registration Information
     Students can register for courses through this online course-sharing consortium for $475 per credit hour. While counting as Mount Union courses on the transcript, these courses are not included in the regular tuition charges. Please visit www.acadeum.com for more details.
6. Winter Term

   Mount Union offers an optional "Winter Term" between the Fall and Spring semesters. The coyrses offered are exclusive to Mount Union and are 100% online. Along with our partnership with the cours sharing consortium, Acadeum, and other winter transient options, this will give students even more options to get ahead, catch up, or remediate using courses offered during the the winter break. All courses offered in the Winter Term are first come, first serve with a waitlist for those courses that fill up quickly.

9. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

   • FERPA Release Form

   In order for the University to share any information about your educational records with anyone, including parents, you must have a signed FERPA release form on file. You may print this form, but someone from the Office of the University Registrar must witness you signing it of your own free will.

      

   • Find A Student's FERPA Release

   Completed FERPA Release forms are on file in the Office of the University Registrar. You can view the FERPA Release and all the specific details of that release by contacting the Office of the University Registrar. Remember that each release has specific information about what can and cannot be shared with the 3rd party on behalf of the student. It is VERY important that you contact the University Registrar if you have any questions, concerns, or doubts about a FERPA release.

     

    

   • What is FERPA?

   In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (commonly referred to as FERPA, or the "Buckley Amendment,") Mount Union has adopted the following policies and procedures to protect the privacy of educational records. Students will be notified of their FERPA rights annually by publication in the Mount Union Catalog and on the University's website.

      Beginning the Summer of 2021, the University of Mount Union has a new student information system (Colleague) that comes with a new and improved Self-Service Portal. This is the most current and active Self-Service. The old PowerCampus Self-Service will no longer be updated and will sunset at the end of the Fall 2021 term.
