The future nurse practitioner said seeing herself in the mirror helped her visualize the future that’s to come. In the classroom, she’s learning hands-on assessments such as vital signs, pain and nutrition, and she'll put those skills to work next semester during clinicals. After earning a Juris Doctor degree from Pace University, she worked as an attorney at an immigration law firm in Brooklyn, New York. Robin is continuing to advance in her career as she’s now working as a diplomat in two-year rotations at United States Embassies and Consulates abroad. As a consular officer, she will adjudicate U.S. visa applications, assist U.S. citizens traveling abroad, issue passports and work on other issues such as international adoptions.
