Study Abroad
Every year, approximately 50 Mount Union students leave Alliance for a summer, semester, or full academic year to study off campus. Students participate in a variety of approved programs at 47 different universities in 27 foreign countries. Through study abroad, students acquire academic and experientially-based field studies and/or internship experiences in other cultures.
There are several benefits to incorporating a study abroad experience into your time at Mount Union. First, you will gain the ability to adapt to a new environment, a strength that will help you both personally and professionally. Because of your experience in stepping outside your comfort zone and interacting with people from other cultures, you'll make yourself highly marketable to employers. Most importantly, you will expand your understanding of yourself and the world.
